About the role
You will own the physical side of proving our safety guarantees — the rigs, fixtures, and hardware integrations that let us validate the safety layer on real robots. If you like designing things that get built and tested in the same week, this role is for you.
What you will do
- Design test rigs, fixtures, and mounts for robotic arms and mobile platforms
- Integrate sensors, actuators, and compute onto robot hardware
- Run physical validation experiments and capture the data behind our guarantees
- Work hand in hand with software and research to close the simulation-to-reality gap
What we are looking for
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong CAD and rapid-prototyping skills
- Experience with robotic hardware, actuators, or test automation
Nice to have
- Experience with humanoids, manipulators, or mobile robots
- Machining, 3D printing, or electronics fabrication

- $100,000 – $120,000 base salary, depending on experience
